I'm Back!!

Some of you will know from my profile that I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2008. I had a mastectomy the same month, followed chemotherapy and radiotherapy. On the 30th of March this year, I had another mastectomy with immediate reconstruction, using tissue expander's. Apart from the fortnightly saline injections into my chest, everything seemed to be going well, untill the left expander ruptured! My consultant wanted to replaced the ruptured expander and the date was set for 13th of July! So I had surgery on Tuesday, Mr Rhodes removed some more tissue so that there was more room for the new expander and he also filled it up aswell. As you will understand I'm feeling rather sore!
One of my friends sent me a text message, setting me a challenge and that was to make just one card today and it had to be for a teenage girl. Hope you like the card Cher!! If you get a spare minute or two, have a look at Cher's blog, where she has some wonderful decoupage sheets and templates.
Here is the card I made.

Here's what I used:
Stamp - Flying Tilda as used in my step by step.
Cardstock - Centura Pearl by Crafters Companion.
Bling, papers, lace, sentiment peel off, chain and charm are all from my stash.

  1. Hope you're feeling better soon, Kerry. You've certainly been through it.

Your card is absolutely gorgeous. I'm sure she'll love it!
